Capitol Commons Reformed Church’s website (ccreformedchurch.org) is a modern, CMS-powered platform designed to support the church’s mission of outreach, worship, and community connection. The site provides members and visitors with clear access to worship schedules, beliefs, ministries, events, sermon media, and ways to engage — all managed through a user-friendly admin interface.
Key Features:
Dynamic Content Management: All major pages — including About, Beliefs, Ministries, Events, and Sermons — are fully editable via the admin panel, enabling church staff to update content without developer involvement.
Structured Sermons Library: A dedicated section for sermons that supports rich media (audio, video embeds, notes), organized by date and speaker.
Events & Calendar Integration: A central place for upcoming worship services, fellowship gatherings, and community events with clear details and dates.
Responsive & Accessible Design: Built with mobile-first principles and accessibility in mind so all users — including mobile visitors and older congregants — can access information easily.
Contact & Service Info: Clear presentation of service times, location, and contact forms to encourage connection and participation.
My Contributions:
Payload CMS Implementation: Engineered the site’s content admin using Payload CMS, giving church administrators full control over structure and content with minimal learning curve.
Custom Admin Schemas: Designed intuitive content models for sermons, events, pages, and ministries to make content editing straightforward for non-technical users.
End-to-End Site Development: Led full development from planning and UI/UX layout to frontend implementation and hosting setup.

It offers a curated and growing library of worship songs, complete with chords, lyrics, and tools to customize the experience (like transposition and playback). Users can explore existing songs or contribute new ones, fostering a community-driven repository.
